I remember reading books at my babysitter's house. she had this series of picture books that taught lessons in character. Most of her books were religious. I read those books over and over. I also remember reading harry potter books about 2nd grade. I have seen this really neat picture of myself as a baby digging through a pile of magazines!!!
The best read aloud book a teacher read to me was when my 5th grade teacher read us the Giver series, by Lois Lowry. These books include, in order, Giver, Gathering Blue and Messenger. Afterwards we did a persuasive essay on the Giver. I have never looked at life the same way after hearing Giver read to me.
The first book I can remember reading was in 2nd grade and it was Harry Potter and the Sorcer's Stone.
The first book I ever read was called Pete's A Pizza. It was about a little boy named Pete and he was sad because it was raining, so his dad made him into a "pizza" by sprinkling bits of paper for pepperoni and talcum powder for cheese.
I have loved books for a very long time. I don't remember very far back but I know that I started reading at 3. I really like Danny the Dinosaur and Sammy the Seal.
magic tree house for sure
the best read - allowed a teacher has ever rea to me was the lightening thief.
I am only half way through the first book in the Inkheart series, but I like it. My friend has been nagging me to read it for a while. It's one of those books that just draws in you from the first pages. The characters are vivid and realistic. The ideas are intriguing. A good read.
i think you mead kids should read zacks lie
The Castle of Red Gorrillas is a great book it has a lot of really good small mtsteries inside the book and for people who love mysteries it's a great book.

I remember my fav books when I was a kid.
They were the No David seris.
Talk about easy reading!

My first book was actually the encyclopedia, I actually read the whole thing. The only thing wrong was i didnt understand it sadly. Of course I would never read it again, too bad if i would i would be really smart.
yea zacks lie is awesome
The book Ctyptid Hunters is one of my favorite books. It's great for anyone about 12-14 years old, I am not a huge book lover, and I still think it's great. Please try it.

the first book that i read was called box car childern!!! i used to have a whoel collection that was full of the series and i used to read them all the time i thought that they were the best books i could have ever read!!!i love mystery books so i always used to read those books non stop!! i would also read those books voer and voer again because i loved them so much!!! those are the books that i remember reading the most!!!
I remember reading Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs. That book is hilarious and I'm sure I'll read it to my kids one day. I don't know the author, but I remember that the illustrator was very very talented and the pictures were amazing and full of extreme detail!!!
i love the book alchemist!
You should all read the Bartimaeus Trilogy Book One: The Amulet of Samarkand. It is very good and Bartimaeus is very funny. I laughed out loud a bunch while reading that book and that means it's REALLY funny because I never actualy laugh out loud very often.
If you like to cry your eyes out, read two books: Where the Red Fern Grows, which is THE saddest book I have ever read and I bawled my eyes out reading it, or a book called Sweet Creek Holler. When I read that book, I didn't actually cry, but my eyes got very wet and very red, even though it's not that sad. In both books, people's dogs die. Is that a coincidence? Maybe people just cry whenever they read a book about people's dogs dying.
There is one author that I absolutely HATE, and that is Kate DiCamillo. I've read, by her, The Tiger Rising, which is one of the worst books I've ever read, and Because of Winn-Dixie, which I also hate very much. I have also read The Tale of Desperaeux, and it is OK, but it's not the best book I've ever read. I also don't reccomend books by Jerry Spinelli.
MY FAVORITE READ -ALOUD BOOK THAT A TEACHER READ TO ME WAS ZACH'S LIE AND JACK'S RUN
The first book I ever read was I think either Green Eggs and Ham or Go Dogs Go. My little brother used to read Go Dogs Go like 3 times a day he liked it so much.
The book my 2nd grade teacher always read to me was The Magic Tree House series. It seemed like she would read 1 full book almost everyday. It was awesome.
The first book I remember reading is called Ark in the Park. My favorite books when I was little were Animal Ark books, Junie B. Jones books, and Goosebumps books. The best read-aloud book has to be The Indian in the Cupboard books that my fifth grade teacher read to my class.
