So, if you were stuck for the next five years on a deserted island, with no computers, video games, television, Ipods, or any other form of electronic media, what are the three books you would want to have with you to entertain you for those five years?

The book i'd bring would be Eragon or Eldest because there long and keep me intereted.
I would bring the last Harry Potter book because it is long and you can read it over and over without getting bored, an encyclopedia, and the first Inkheart book. I have not read it, but I've heard it's good and it's very long.

i think so b it is the best book ever but i guess that it is just alittle sad
people say that series of unfortunate events is the best book ever, but i disagree there r so many other books that r great and a whole lot better than this book! And i think the best book ive ever read would probibly be the series of unfortunate events (the last one) eva!!!!!!!! and i totaly disagree with "chump and anonymous." sorry u guys.
Well i disagree with chump (sorry) when i started to read Eragon i couldn't get "in to it" very well. But i would have to agree with alicia the series of unfortunate events books are great i would recommend. i would definetly bring Holes, Charlottes Web, and Series of Unfortunate events (The End)also!
The book id bring is Room one by andrew clements..andrew clements writes great book you peoples need to read some on them.There great books!!

I would take Peter and the Starcatchers, Cleopatra VII, and Spiderwick because of they are fun and very interesting. They're also long so you can read them over and over without getting board.
I would bring the Lightning Thief, Leven Thumps and the Gateway to Foo, and the River Boy. They are all interesting books,you want to re-read them.
I'd bring the westing game because It will take me forever to figure out what's what and who's whom
There is so many good (GREAT) books out there its hard to choose!

I agree with potatoe lover. You should all read stuff by Andrew Clements. He's agreat author. I would especially reccomend The Landry News, The School Story, The Report Card, Lunch Money, and Frindle.
I love the book Power of Three. It is about a boy named Gair who thinks he is ordinary compared to his siblings who both have a unique gift.To add to his worries his cousin keeps picking on him. He would rather face the terrifying Giants and the cruel Dorig, than his cousin.
I recomend a book called The Golden Compass. It keeps you very interested, and you can't put it down!
Bridge to Teribithia is a very good book. If you like adventure then you should read it.
